Ryan is a proud Montanan and was the Democratic nominee for Governor in 2024. He is a noted Public lands and conservation leader who has served in numerous leadership roles, including as past Chair of Montana Conservation Voters and North American Board Chair of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, advisor to national policy organizations, presidential campaigns, Senate committees, and advisor to the U.S. Departments of Interior and Agriculture. 

Busse grew up on a rural cattle ranch, graduated in a class of 16, and spent 25 years in the firearms industry. However, Ryan gave up that award-winning career because he was increasingly troubled by the destructive sources of political radicalization. Since publishing his highly regarded memoir in 2020, he has become a celebrated and strident critic of right-wing radicalization and a powerful voice for decency and good governance. He is often called to write for publications like The Atlantic, speak at national events, testify to Congress, or brief the U.S. Senate.

Guy-Uriel E. Charles is the Charles J. Ogletree Jr. Professor of Law at Harvard Law School where he also directs the Charles Hamilton Institute for Race and Justice.  He writes about how law mediates political power and how law addresses racial subordination. He teaches courses on civil procedure; election law; constitutional law; race and law; critical race theory; legislation and statutory interpretation; law, economics, and politics; and law, identity, and politics. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and the American Law Institute. He was appointed by President Joseph Biden to the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States. He is currently working on a book, with Luis Fuentes-Rohwer, on the past and future of voting rights, under contract with Cambridge University Press. He is also co-editing, with Aziza Ahmed, a handbook entitled Race, Racism, and the Law, under contract with Edward Elgar Publishing.

Luis Fuentes-Rohwer is a Professor of Law and the Class of 1950 Herman B Wells Endowed Professor at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He specializes in civil rights, legal history, and the constitutional status of U.S. territories. Currently, he is working on a book project for Cambridge University Press about the history of race and voting in the United States. He is also developing a documentary that explores the constitutional status of Puerto Rico. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he holds a J.D. and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and an LL.M. from Georgetown.

Ken Harbaugh is the President of MeidasTouch Studios, and the producer of the #1 Apple TV documentary Against All Enemies. He is a former US Navy pilot and Mission Commander who helped build and lead several nationally recognized veterans organizations including Team Rubicon, and has reported from the front lines of the war in Ukraine for VALOR Media and the MeidasTouch Networks. 

Ken’s writing on civil-military relations has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Hill, and the Yale Journal of International Law. He served as a commentator for NPR’s All Things Considered, and has hosted multiple award-winning podcasts, including Reclaiming Patriotism (Crooked Media) and Burn The Boats. He currently hosts The Ken Harbaugh Show on the MeidasTouch Network.

Fabian Núñez is a public leader and strategist. The son of immigrant farmworkers who came to the U.S. through the Bracero Program, he began in the organizing movement and rose to become Speaker of the California State Assembly, where he drove transformative progress on climate, infrastructure investment, green tech, education, and economic opportunity. 

Today, Fabian is the co-founder of Actum, a global consultancy built to solve complex problems for clients around the world. Actum has emerged as one of the fastest-growing firms in the industry, redefining the traditional consulting model.

Dr. Angela Rasmussen is a leading virologist, with research focused on how hosts respond to emerging viruses like Ebola, mpox, MERS, and COVID-19. A virologist and leading science communicator, Dr. Rasmussen advises SAM on science, public health, and how authoritarianism preys on public confusion and misinformation. She helps ground the movement in evidence, results, and accountability.

Billy Ray wrote the Oscar-nominated screenplay for Captain Phillips, for which he won the WGA award. Ray's films as writer, co-writer, or writer-director include "The Hunger Games," "Richard Jewell," "Shattered Glass," and Showtime's "The Comey Rule," which had the biggest debut of any limited series in that network's history. He provides messaging help to 80 sitting Members of the House and Senate. He believes in democracy, justice, and the Dodgers.

Jeff Rohwer is an entrepreneurial AI strategist and communications veteran who has built and scaled multiple datadriven agencies. For more than two decades he has applied technology and data to solve communications challenges and deliver measurable results for life science companies.

As an AI Advisor to The Save America Movement (SAM), Jeff offers a fresh, outsider perspective rooted in business building rather than Beltway politics. He applies data and AI strategically and practically to advance SAM’s mission, equipping prodemocracy advocates with actionable insights that capture attention and drive impact.

Jeff is also an author and an active voice on LinkedIn and Substack, where he shares pragmatic insights on harnessing AI for realworld impact. A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he combines storyteller instincts with analytic rigor to make complex technology accessible to deliver belief and behavior change.

A former Republican strategist who walked away from the party to stand for democracy, Steve leads SAM’s political strategy, guiding national messaging and the hard-nosed tactics needed to dismantle MAGA from within the system it seeks to corrupt and destroy.

Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove is a spiritual writer, preacher, and moral activist. He serves as Assistant Director for Partnerships and Fellowships at Yale University’s Center for Public Theology and Public Policy. In 2003, Jonathan and his wife Leah founded the Rutba House, a house of hospitality where the formerly unhoused share community with the formerly housed. Jonathan also founded the School for Conversion, a popular education center that has worked at the intersection of faith communities and the Southern freedom movement for two decades. He is an Associate Minister at St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church and Chair of the Board for Repairers of the Breach, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting moral movements for social change.
