Program Overview
In September 2025, the Save America Movement (SAM) launched Operation Liberty in Los Angeles — a bold, first-of-its-kind initiative to defend immigrant and vulnerable communities facing federal enforcement actions. By October, we expanded to Chicago and in November, Liberty vans arrived in Charlotte, NC. Where ICE goes, we follow.
Through specially equipped Liberty Vans, teams of trained volunteers—lawyers, clergy, veterans, and videographers—monitor, document, and respond to ICE operations. Their mission: to ensure accountability, provide moral and legal support, and stand in visible solidarity with families impacted by enforcement.
Earlier this year, when Federal agents in Minneapolis gunned down Alex Pretti—a 37-year-old ICU nurse—simply for recording their abuses, the administration immediately tried to brand him a terrorist, but civilian cameras exposed the lie.
We deployed investigative resources to back the community and amplify local officials who are suing the federal government for evidence. We kept the cameras rolling day and night so the agents who pulled the trigger cannot hide behind a fabricated, taxpayer-funded PR narrative.
This lawless machinery spread from our cities and is trying to metastasize nationwide by building a network of detention centers in rural and suburban towns.
- Social Circle, Georgia: When ICE tried to secretly drop a mass-deportation center into the suburbs, we threw our support behind the local city manager who literally padlocked the federal water meter to stop them.
- Surprise, Arizona: Our Liberty Vans are parked directly outside the new $313 million GardaWorld site, providing the operational backbone and a blinding media spotlight for the local resistance.
Whether they are operating in city streets or quietly building holding pens in the desert, we are making sure they have to fight for every single inch of ground.

We deployed Liberty Vans across Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Social Circle, and Surprise, with vans staffed by volunteer teams trained in legal, media, and community response. By partnering with local organizations and faith networks, we're extending our reach and deepening the impact where it matters most.
