Program Overview
Across the country, detention facilities are being proposed and developed with little public awareness until construction is already underway. The Save America Movement launched this initiative to identify these projects early, expose the interests behind them, and help communities respond before critical decisions are made.
By monitoring public records, government contracts, and corporate partnerships, we provide communities with the information they need to understand what is being planned in their neighborhoods. We work alongside local organizers, faith leaders, and elected officials to bring transparency to the process and ensure residents have a voice in decisions that affect their communities.
From small towns to major cities, we're building a nationwide network committed to accountability, public engagement, and local action. By connecting communities and amplifying successful efforts across the country, we're helping residents stand together against projects they believe threaten their values and quality of life.
HOW IT WORKS
The Mission
Transparency and accountability are at the heart of this initiative. Too often, major detention projects move forward before communities fully understand what is being proposed. Our mission is to provide timely information, expose the interests driving these developments, and empower local residents with the tools and resources needed to participate in decisions that affect their communities.
On the Ground
We work directly with community leaders, organizers, faith groups, and concerned residents to identify proposed detention facilities and raise public awareness. Through research, media outreach, and local partnerships, we help communities share information, coordinate responses, and connect with others facing similar challenges across the country. By amplifying local voices and supporting grassroots efforts, we're building a nationwide network focused on transparency, accountability, and civic engagement.
